Normal People was my fave show of 2020 so I will be checking this out regardless, but I’m not loving this trailer. The way it’s cut and the dialogue chosen feels like an SNL parody.
This looks like a great show to kick back, relax in the tub with some bubbles and drop a plugged toaster in the water.

What’s with the editing?
The music and editing of this is incredibly weird.
It feels like they’ve tried to turn it into a gentle Nicholas Sparks romance, rather than a relentless interpersonal horror show between four people pulling each other underwater rather than be honest with themselves.
I also don’t think *any* combination of them seem to have the ferocious kind of chemistry they need for a story this messy to work.
