People say regulations kill business. So business’ kill regulation AND people. We need to ally ourselves with the regulationites against our mutual corporate exterminators.
This tune should be nominated for a Grammy and Norfolk’s CEO belongs in the slammy, but we all know that certainly won’t be the case.
The political elites will hide their heads in the sand and the Grammy will go to a rapper or some band while our government proves to be a total human disgrace.
There’s a good line on The West Wing where the character played by Rob Lowe is an attorney for a firm that is creating a liability shield for oil tankers and his buddy who is going to New Hampshire to listen to the under dog candidate (Candidate Jed Bartlet,) kind of calls him on it. Rob Lowe’s character says:
Just because they are super rich and powerful doesn’t mean they absolve themselves of legal representation to which His buddy (Josh, played by Bradley Whitford,) says:
I’m surprised no one has ever written a folk song about that . . .
It’s what popped into my head when I saw this post.
Great song and message. Hope this gets more attention

Great book and great movie. “White Noise”
Awesome song! Is that the tune to – Dan Reeder – Maybe??
Beautiful song about an absolutely devastating tragedy. People who say profit over people doesn’t exist can learn a lot from this song.
Never let a tragedy go to waste!
He also had a song hit front page here during the GameStop stock shenanigans. A prolific songwriter!
Very good! Will share everywhere.
“It’s cheaper to poison children than to upgrade brakes”
God damn what a line. Fantastic song
