I have an question. Today, folks look at mountains like that and admire the beauty and remoteness. They, or at least I, contrast them against the drabness of suburban life. Did people in the time period that this picture was taken similarly admire the beauty of the landscape? Or did the hardship of living in these areas overshadow the beauty?

Why do they square off the building front as opposed to having it follow the actual roofline? I mean, I get that will look the building look bigger, but thats not going to be fooling anyone. Is there a better reason?

Someone should really make an ultra-realistic theme park, with real actors, or life-like androids that you could shoot.
