Some of those, like Pokemon Soul Silver, are actually reasonably valuable outside of the sentimental memories.
Cool
PM me if you change your mind about selling. I’d love to buy pokemon soul silver.
Every time I see games like this especially Pokemon of this generation, I shed a tear. My whole childhood was Pokemon games, I 100%’d the games and I had EV-trained multiple games worth of full Pokemon Boxes of the best Pokemon I could possibly get, including all of the event Pokemon. I had Pokemon my friends, some of which are no longer with us, had traded me..
I held onto them like gold once my dad passed away because he got all of them for me, they were all gifts obviously.
I kept care of all of my games into my mid-teens, and then my friend’s older brother stole them all, deleted and reset them, naming the characters “God,” before running away to the Navy. I never saw him again and I don’t want to see him ever again.
Since his brother who was my friend returned them, I couldn’t do anything about it, he didn’t technically break any laws. It was so fucked up and it still emotionally scars me that someone could do that. He knew how much they meant to me as he was “my friend,” but apparently not. He also played these games, so he knew how much effort goes into them.
Always nice to be reminded of Spectrobes. I enjoyed playing the Wii game when I was younger.
Ahhh I had spectrobes, fun game, shame there are no ports
Wtf is too ghoul for school
Professor Layton! That whole series is great.
Every time I go into a used game store, I try to find Spectrobes but they never have it
I wish spectrobes could be revived into a new game. The creature designs were always so fucking cool
the Pokemon games are expensive
“Sorry kiddos, I couldn’t find your games anywhere. Nana must have eaten them.”
Narnia slaps
Loved spectrobes
Spectrobes was a bop
Pokemon rangers is the shitz
DS was a great little generation. It was pretty much an N64 you could fit in your pocket — and this is where their wireless capabilities were getting better. Being able to play multiplayer when only one DS had a game was genius.
I was pretty confused when they introduced the 3DS though. I thought it was just a modified DS like the DS-lite was, and figured they’d keep making DS games. Didn’t realize it was a whole new-ass generation, told myself I’d wait until they came out with “the pocket gamecube”, and before I knew it, they released the Switch.
Advanced Wars: Dual Strike is my jam.
Spectrobes was such a hidden treasure.
