In case anyone’s wondering, the Japanese says “Classic Classic” written out in katakana (used for, among other things, borrowed words from other languages). It’s common for phony goods like this, especially in China, to have Japanese on it to make it look higher quality. Usually whatever is written makes no sense.

I grew up on a similar game console. Fam didn’t have money for a ps but I tell you what it was amazing playing duck hunt on this console. Have some good memories oven of the thing was shitty.

Other than name and looks too similar to a popular product, the descriptions of this thing on websites that sell it is relatively accurate: a console that comes with 200 NES games preinstalled.
Anyhow, if somebody is shopping for a $30 gift for you, and get you this… Well, they weren’t shopping for $500 gift for you in the first place.
This would be a good prank and like have them open this 1 1st and then wait till the very end of the Christmas present opening and then say oh here’s another gift and it be the real playstation
