Scott Pippin is ridiculous and this was the coolest entrance ever.
This is the Goat all time sports introduction and the peak of the NBA.
The Bulls pioneered this kind of pregame introduction. Amazing that it remains so iconic (and they still use Sirius to this day).
The Suns had a similar intro with the same music. I always thought it was just them that used it. The CGI out of the Grand Canyon into America West arena combined with the music always got me so pumped.
I was at this game, game one. 10 rows behind the Bulls Bench. The crowd went NUTS for the charging computer-generated Bull. I was 19 years old. It was next level at the time
My god, this brought me back. I saw the graphic with my volume turned down and I could still hear it.

Those were good times
If you haven’t watched “The Last Dance” on Hulu yet, do it now.
Thanks for uploading!
Man those were good times
Ah jeez, I had two boys in the 90s and pretty much watched every game the Bulls played that decade. I can’t watch BB anymore. Best moment: flu game. Best opponent: Detroit. Best karma: my super evil boss in the 80s was a HUGE basketball fan but was sick of watching the Bulls lose so he gave up his season tickets the same year they drafted Jordan.
Chills!!!!!!!
Growing up a Jazz fan I couldn’t believe the bad luck of having Stockton/Malone but then having to go up against Michael Jordan twice in a row. And of course losing. Jordan was/is a god.
That took me way back. This was THE team.
Great time to be living in Chicago, especially during the playoffs.
Inspired laser light show. Anthemic music. Epic.
Imagine being the other team and seeing this coming at you
As a Knicks fan, when this came on, it usually meant we were about to get worked in the 90s.
As a Knicks fan…fuck this introduction.
This is why I love Tom Brady. Never lived in New England, never been a Patriots fan – just like I was never a Chicago or basketball fan, but I grew up in the Jordan/Bulls era. I had the three action figure set of Michael playing basketball, baseball, and golf. I had the gaudy gold-plated sports commemorative plaques with Jordan, I had the Bulls touring RV toy with the basketball hoop on the back.
All because my Dad and I watched every single Bulls games that aired on our network television in rural Indiana even though we didn’t have a history of watching sports together. Sometimes you just have to stop and take notice of greatness, and the best times are when you share that lightning-in-a-bottle moment with family.
To this day he’s not really a big basketball fan, we both root for the Cubs if they’re playing because my sister lives in Chicago and used to live in Wrigleyville, but in general sports aren’t a big part of our lives. But that time was pure magic, as I’m sure Brady’s run has been for a lot of Father’s/Sons/Mothers/Daughters/and every combo in between.
Alan Parsons for the win!
Could this BE more awesome ?!
I was never a Bulls fan, but I couldn’t help but like it when they made the Finals because I would make sure I was tuned in to NBC with Bob Costas / Marv Albert early enough to catch this introduction.
If this shit doesn’t get you hyped, I don’t know what to tell you
i remember thinking about that intro with the bull running into the city was so futuristic looking at the time lol
A lot of people saying this was *peak NBA*.
I almost feel like it was at a time that was *peak USA*.
Sirius by Alan Parson’s Project is the best intro song for anything ever and no one can convince me otherwise. Grew up watching and hearing this every game
We often listen to Allen Parsons project eye in the sky at work and goddamn that opening song makes me want to dunk on tables lol
This was and always will be, one of the coolest entrances
Still get goosebumps watching this
Thanks for making me feel 10 years old again. 🙂
Bulls were so ahead of their time. Instead of centering their team around a big like most teams did back then they centered it around 2 of the best wings to ever play the game in Jordan and pippen. Kukoc was a stretch fwd that could pass and shoot deep, he created a lot of mismatches for other teams. And rodman out there at 6 7 out rebounding dudes 6 inches taller than him, and letting the bulls play small if they wanted since he could really guard any position out there. The perfect team for Phil’s triangle offense. And they did this with basically zero Bench lol. It’s no mistake why they dominated that decade.
The mount Everest of entrances and teams. No one can convince me otherwise. So glad I got to see their 3peat epic wins in real time as a kid. Sigh.
“…..FROM NORTH CAROLINA!”
CHILLS every time!
