Chase is a real life superhero ❤️
Chase is the first to receive the Black Panther Hero Arms by Open Bionics, recently released in collaboration with Marvel! [He also had a chance to show off his new arms to the cast of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at the film’s premiere!](https://i.imgur.com/urkuhBw.jpeg)
And he grew up to be Jax from Mortal Kombat. 😁
This kid looks bad ass. I’m so glad to see how happy he is and how he seems to recognize just how cool he looks. Wholesome all around.
These are dope.
Oh god, Chase has seized the United Nations, nothing we can do can stop him, he has Vibranium Arms, we have no defense, curse our hubris!
Seriously great work hes so happy 😀
Is meningitis not easily treatable?
The source of this image appears to be the Open Bionics FB page. According to there:

> Close-up shot of Chase’s Black Panther Hero Arm covers. We have teamed up with Disney for the past 12-months to design these, and we’re beyond excited to see Chase be the first person in the world to wear them 🌍🦾🌟

With something like this for kids. Do you imagine you’ll have to replace these with something more proportionate to his adult body?
Apparently I confused Meningitis with Gingivitis
How much control does he have of those arms?
He’s one up on the Winter Soldier.
Sick!!!
Amazing. Prosthetics where always ugly and always beige when I was kid. So glad to see he has something he can wear proudly. Also I mean way way better than a dummy arm with a clasping hook .Light years better❤️✊🏽
Okay how does he control the hands!
This r/mademesmile so much!!!
He’s so happy too
They look absolutely sick AF too
Okay, that is objectively BAD-ASS.
Instantly became the raddest fuckin’ kid on the block
That’s The Winter Panther
He looks awesome. The absolute coolest dude.
That’s so great !
Out of curiosity, how much does it cost in Europe?
Chase is absolutely rocking this look!!! Great post. I want to see more content like this on my feed everyday 🙂
Well if you lose a limb and need a prosthetic, might as well make it super cool.
Hold on.
If those don’t come with inbuilt claws, he needs to send them back.
Freaking stellar human beings y’all are. Blessings to y’all friend
Truly incredible and inspirational stuff! Keep up the good work ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
*YIBAMBE!*
Dude that’s awesome!!! Can he open and close his hands too?

So fucking cool!
Omg I love it!
Not to dismiss the positivity of this post but I wonder… Limb loss like this is normally due to meningococcal meningitis for which we have a vaccine for the most common strain (men B). I wonder if this entire thing could have been avoided if his parents had vaccinated him (I have no idea of his vaccination status but see this pattern of medicine often).

Bacterial meningitis is no joke. I got it in 2019 and by the time I drove myself to the clinic, my fever was so high that I couldn’t figure out how to fill out the paperwork. I knew what I was supposed to do, I just couldn’t figure out how to make it happen.
After they confirmed that I was positive for meningitis and did a spinal tap to make sure it wasn’t in my spinal fluid, I had to be rushed to a larger hospital where they put me on an IV cocktail of all kinds of stuff to get the infection under control. My fingers and toes were ice cold due to the infection clotting my blood but they managed to get ahead of that in time.
My doc at the hospital told me that more than 10% of people die when they arrive in the shape I was in.
They look incredible, but has Disney sent you a Cease and Desist yet? lol
that’s cool and all but I’m guessing he doesn’t know about the [Dora Milaje’s failsafe](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KdcHEeHdJ4)
Reminds me of another girl [Tilly Lockey](https://youtu.be/GNnFNxx4Exw?t=0m22s), who got bionic arms put into plan by another director, James Cameron, inspired by his own movie, Alita: Battle Angel
Biologically inspired machines are awesome. Watching it help someone is even more awesome!
Does, Disney know?
He is officially both black panther and Jax now. Nice!
