But Pal version got something similar to it Police 24/7

I worked at an arcade that had one of these. It was an absolute leg workout. All that squatting and shifting to take cover and fire at enemies.
Polybius was better
you can snatch these for under 1k, just go buy it

So you put your feet on the black outlines on the mat.
Using your weight, you can shift up and down in cover.
When enemies shoot at you, their bullets move incredibly slow, allowing you to perform matrix dodges if you have the skill.
Made my thighs burn! Many a good hour playing this as a kid.
