People always ask me if I’m Canadian because I start and end almost every sentence with sorry, with some sorries in between sometimes. I’m sorry but I’m not.
Someone hit me from behind awhile back, nothing bad I was at a yield, he thought I went but I didn’t and as he was looking back at traffic bumped me. I had just the slightest damage to my truck and knew I wasn’t going to get insurance involved but I took their info anyway because it was a company vehicle they were in. Anyway, it took a bit for him to call his boss, tell him and write all the info down and we were just talking about shit, when we were all done I waved and said sorry guys. I’m not even Canadian, although I did grow up in the Midwest so maybe that counts.

As a Canadian you need to understand that saying sorry is often a passive aggressive ‘sorry but not sorry’.
