Can we start a thread about how unrealistic some scenes in Fast and Furious are. Me and my buddy are cracking up right now.

All seems realistic to me 🤷♂️
Fast and Furious 7 when Jason Statham visits the hospital to see his brother has got to be the best for me 😆 🤣 😂
The bugatti out of the tower in dubai
I can drive my car 100 in reverse no problem!
Anything is possible when you’re with family
Funny is the reaction when they are falling, looking like a normal ride
I’m more terrified when my dad drives
I am nearly finished building my fiero for space flight, are you suggesting that is not a realistic goal!?
Wish they would reboot in the style of FF1 – Streetracing and not destroying a Spaceshuttle with a deathray on a multimillion car prototype
The funniest thing is how it goes from boosting DVD players and TVs via street racing to saving the world by driving a car into space.
I’d like to believe that Dom is in a coma after his crash in FF1, and the remainder of the series is just a huge dream sequence.
Are you saying that when the rock broke his arm in FF7, then flexed out of the cast, healing it completely. That that was unrealistic?
Bollywood vibes
As a physicist, I can tell you the science here is sound.
Now I know how I’m spending my Sunday
He’s not even wearing a seatbelt. But it’s not like he’s in space or anything.
I liked the scene with the unrealistically long runway.
What about that one scene where Brian fires a handgun, then hops back into his car and races the bullet, until it goes through Dom’s beer, and then he proceeds to shotgun it?
Or was that American Dad?
As someone who has only ever seen the first two movies: lol wtf?
Vin should have looked for something on the radio mid-flight
I was losing my mind watching dom and bryan drag the Safe around the city in two chargers.
That’s part of the fun, IMO
The best for me is when a nuclear submarine exploded 10 feet from Vin Diesel but he survives by crouching behind a Subaru.
I love these movies for the ridiculousness. One of my favorites is the one, I think it was 5 or 6, when they drive cars off of a plane and parachute down to a road to start driving. There was a road there, why did they need to parachute onto it? Also, there are several scenes that posit that cars are soft materials for a human body to land on. There was a bridge scene in one where someone is flying through the air to be caught by the hood of a car and is not immediately killed but gets up like nothing insane just happened. Its just amazing.
Embracing the ridiculousness gave this franchise a second wind. Fast Five is when they stopped being serious and just leaned into what everybody wanted.
College Humor had a nice video on the realistic stunts in FF7

I always imagined the series is all just the adventures and imagination of a 5-6 year old playing with hot wheel cars. And each instalment is just him or her getting a new set of toy cars and coming up with more absurd scenarios the new toys lmfao
