Can someone tell me more about this? Found it in my gramdmas closet and it’s in perfect condition and works like a charm. Apparently from 1983

Did you beat it?
My dude. You just struck gold :).
I mean I would keep it but you can sell it for decent dosh.
It’s worth quite a lot – depends on condition: 200-500 dollars.
Awesome! I’ve never seen this system. Hang onto that, or sell it for a good amount to a collector.
These early games were so hard. If you could ever win them, it was epic for the winner, and everyone around who knew about it.
According to wiki a brief excerpt of queens another one bites the dust, plays when starting a game. They later had to remove that…..does yours have queen or generic music when starting a game?
That’s cool as hell. I would hang onto it for sure
These are super rare! I have the Popeye one in fair condition. If you wanted to sell it you could get $200-600 depending on condition. But they’re super unique so I’ve kept mine
Mario had to finish paying his debt to some other less wholesome Italians.
You: “I found this in my Grandma’s closet”
Me: “Fuck I’m old”
Mom can I have a Nintendo?
No, we have a Nintendo at home already.
A friend of mine is doing a video series that takes a deep dive into these little gems. He talks abiut this set here: https://youtu.be/rf9-vE4azDE
It was used to track the motion of the stars and planets. According to archeologists.
All these can picture is Gangster Mario putting MFing Goombas in cement shoes. Screaming “who is is DK and where the hell have Paully gone off too?”
Nintendo lawyers on their way
Whit box maybey double the miney
Mario eating bags of cement simulator
My guess is that’s part of the game n watch series but I might be wrong
Clearly it’s Mario’s cement factory, what more do you need to know? Just produce cement and profit, ez.
A Tabletop Game & Watch is worth like $200, maybe $250 if it’s in really good shape like that one looks to be.
If it has the original box and packaging in similarly good condition, probably double that, maybe even more.
This mf boutta be Jeff Bezos-level stacked
Not worth much, I’ll give you $10
Hobbyist gaming historian here.
The originals, when complete and in-box, are collectors items, though they’re not particularly valuable: $200-$300, at most. *Mario’s Cement Factory* (model #CM-72) was one of only four tabletop games produced, but they didn’t sell very well.
The color units are not common (not rare, but uncommon). Only 250,000 were produced. It was made by Nintendo R&D1, led by engineer Gunpei Yokoi, and released on April 28, 1983, the same year the Famicom launched in Japan.
The first revision played ‘Another One Bites the Dust’ when a new game was started, but that was replaced by a generic melody in later versions.
I still have my ‘Popeye’ one and it works fantastically. It was my first video game, and is to blame for all terrible game-based decisions and purchases that have ruled my life ever since.
Looks like Mario’s cement factor if you ask me
