Not a patch on Convoy.
I think music history is still trying to make sense of C.W. McCall. Invented and destroyed CB radio culture with one song. Then there’s this. Brilliant fusionist or cynical hack. I just don’t know.
Holy shit this is an amazing track. This is stretching the limits of what “country music” is. Is C.W. part of some trucking subgenre of country?
