So Busta Rhymes was born in 1972 making him the worlds oldest 11 year old in this video
$15 a week in 1972 is about $109 today adjusted for inflation (and rounded… technically $108.86).
EDIT: Got confused with his date of birth – actually $45.69. Still quite a bit of cash to spend weekly at an arcade.
80,000 points is a poor ass return on investment if you are spending $15 weekly at the arcade on Galaga or Galaxian. I’m not sure about Frogger; I’ll have to ask my friend George.
I wonder which game 80,000 is his high score on. That’s a great score on frogger, but not so great on Galaga.
Lmao! That’s not busta rhymes 😅😂😂😂😂
Busta is so talented it’s crazy.
Is this AI manipulated?
“I could have told him sooo much more if I just spoke significantly faster. I’m going to work on that.”
The icon himself!
This is a clip from an NYU student film about going Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island, which at the time was the largest mall in the US. While I’m skeptical that’s Busta, he did move to nearby Uniondale around that time. Anyway, the video is a fantastic time capsule of mall culture (and classic Long Island accents) in the early 80s.

Used to go to that game room in the early 80s and rock the SHIT out of Robotron.
