I really really love this movie.
Such a unique film, I can’t wait for this.
Gorgeous.
I did not like this when I saw it in theaters back in the day, but I really think I need to revisit it.

Is this a different release than the Shout! Factory 4k coming out? Also- is it a different transfer than those prints? I have the shout blu ray but see no real reason to get the 4k. Unless the hdr is through the roof.
Still has the ~~breast~~ best transition shot ever in film.

this movie was wild. French cinema should be a much bigger player on the world stage but it isn’t, curiously.
One of the local tv channels used to play it almost every week late at night. I have a soft spot for this movie, especially the soundtrack.
Instant buy.
I genuinely loved this movie. the soundtrack is insane. The action is top notch. You just don’t get these kinds of out of the box movies anymore. Glad to see it’s getting the restoration treatment.
I love French Cinema and this is one of my favorites. Christophe Gans also did Crying Freeman with Mark Dacascos and its quite special.
I’m mesmerized by this film! The cinematography is incredible and the fight scenes are exciting! I wish the cgi of the lion had been better.
There are lots of examples of “monster” movies that lose much of their steam once the monster emerges form the shadows. This is my favorite example where you finally see the monster and you’re filled with 10,000 questions you didn’t have before but are completely hooked.

The biggest question to me would be how the CGI looks. That’s the weakest part when rewatching the movie now. I haven’t rewatched this in a while, but even 10+ years ago the CGI was kind of laughably bad. Going 4k seems like it will make it even worse.
I was studying in Paris and saw this when it came out there – ended up buying the poster and bringing it home. Great time! The English dubs are pretty acceptable, as well.

I love this movie, so much that I bought it on blu-ray which i never watches because, well, who the fuck watches blu-rays, lol! But if this is something that actually come sout, I might download it illegaly and watch it on a 4k tv that I haven’t got yet.
I never recommended a film more than this one.
Found this for sale at my local movie rental place on VHS, and absolutely loved it, could never find it on dvd, but I would love to see it again.
I love this film. I was telling my sister about it he other night. Manny was the man.
Great movie, recently I watched the it for the first time and it was the extended edition as well. Slow burn but very engaging.
Le Pacte des Loups is amazing
I remember watching this in 2003. It felt like the longest movie I had ever watched…and then it went on for another 45 minutes. I remember little else from the movie other than it seemed like it should have ended four different times.
My best friend and me loved it growing up. He passed away about a decade ago and I’m unsure if I’ll ever be ready to watch this again cuz I would miss him too much but so happy to see it exist in 4k.
Had it on pre order for ages, can’t wait.
