Looks like it could be fun. But i’m a bit confused if Billy’s voice over in the trailer is in-movie/character, or if it’s like old trailers where that voice over guy would summarize the premise of the film.
Luke McFarlane (the hunky love interest) is 42 and looks like he’s meant to be like early 30’s at most. I think he looks younger than when he was on some TV shows 15 years ago.
I don’t know how I felt about this trailer with the narration but if thats toned down for the film, this could be as fun as Trainwreck was.
I’ve been hearing about this movie for a while now and didn’t really know what to think. I honestly just figured it’d be a relatively formulaic rom-com with a few twists. But I think self-awareness and breaking the 4th wall are exactly what this movie needs to stand on its own aside from “the gay movie” as well as “just another rom-com”.
I’m not surprised that billy eichner is the one to make a movie like this. Lgbt love and growing up and dating and crushes and flirting – none of it is the same as heterosexual stuff. It took me a long long long time to realize, but now I look back at how I just didn’t understand things and that things, for me, were different. And they still are.
Imagine if you were 12 years old and a gay parent of a friend of yours said “how do you KNOW you’re straight? Maybe you just haven’t had the right dick.”
Cause that’s what I heard about women and vaginas for a long time. And now as an adult shit is just as wild
A friend saw this one a while back and he thought it was pretty cute!
The trailer does it a fair amount of justice from what he mentioned. While he didn’t find it a laugh riot (more like consistent chuckles), he thought it was very clever and probably gives the best look into current gay culture out of the recent LGBTQ+ romcom push.
Mainstream movie about gay dudes that isn’t pandering, condescending, nor woke and it doesn’t seem to have an token characters and just enough self awareness and actually seems funny.
As straight guy who sexually identifies as a failure, I’m sold. I mean. I probably wont watch it because I don’t watch…”straight romcoms” i guess, but still. this actually seems like it’s funny. This dude was my favorite character in Parks and Rec. The way he starts his sentences and then ends them like a psychopath, but he’s still a good guy at the end of the day. Love that character. I wish he was in the earlier seasons, lol.
Billy Eichner: The Movie!
It looks good though.
Billy Eichner is jacked, now I want Eichner in a Michael Bay movie.

Now that’s something, kudos to Eichner and Stoller to try something new and unapologetic.
Well that seems fun. I’m sold.
Was that dude at the end ‘They killed Killer, B’, from Half Baked?!
I’ve loved Billy Eichner since [**he covered NYC’s Fashion Week for Radar Online.**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cXBEqgk1hc) This looks great!
PISS and SHIT and VOMIT
“Let’s go lesbians!!!!”
Choo choo!
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Just two dudes being bros. Nothing gay here.
this looks pretty gay
Billy Eichner is hysterical. Looking forward to this.
Don’t worry guys- their balls never touch
This looks so good!!
The scene with the ass pic is 100% accurate. I can’t hardly believe there was a time I found all this gay stuff offensive, now I’m part of the LGBT
Jim rash!

Hang on, this is not a Goss brothers biopic?
Fuggit, I’ll go have a gay old time.
This looks so fun and I loved the joke about that guy wanting someone frail and who talks all the time
You had me at Jim Rash

I usually hate Romcoms with a passion but this looks pretty good lol
He’s (still) making dream come true!
Really looking forward to this, looks even funnier than I hoped.
This looks hilarious
Nice to see Rosie Bumgartener has moved up in the world since working at that Boston meat packing plant.
I’ll watch anything Billy Eichner is in.

This seems like a really inspired script but I have to say Eichner comes off pretty wooden in the few clips we saw him acting.
This looks awesome! Some good humor that actually calls out some BS and asks some real questions.
I’m a straight guy, but, I knew it could be done!
As long as I can see something on the level of;
>”What’s Dean got to do with it? Why, it’s time to Tina TURNER the clocks ahead. Happy daylight savings!”
Is this the one where Chris Pratt plays Mario?
Unseen in the trailer, IMDB lists Harvey Fierstein in the cast, and I couldn’t be happier. He is ALWAYS a treasure!
I thought this was going to be for the new Super Mario Bros movie, and they were going for the “dark edgy title” vibe. I was incorrect.
Sorry I’m just here for the Jason Mamoa Gay Volcano?
This looks like a really fun Dean-Com.
