This whole interview was great. Most of the “Recount the previous movies I was in and pretend like the newest one I’m working on is anywhere near as important to my classics” interviews are kind of phoned in, especially for the last movie they inevitably talk about.
For Fraser’s he was such a dork talking about his movies, and the fact that *The Whale* feels pivotal in his current come back in hollywood means he *actually* appreciates the film, rounding out the interview in a genuine manner.
20+ minutes of Brendan Fraser breaking down the biggest roles of his career, and all he can think to do is heap praise on his fellow actors and film crews.
Hollywood has a lot to answer for, for cancelling him for so long for nothing that was in his control. Injuries, bad divorce and SA by a bigwig in the industry.
Brendan Fraser is so talented and carried every movie he was in. Even Monkeybone (bad movie) was better with him as the star.
He is well deserving of his return to the spotlight. Welcome back!
