As I understand it, they couldn’t have stopped it anyway. They have no authority over a U.S. based company.
Previously Saudia Arabia approved it. Just like Brazil without any restrictions.
EU announces it’s decision in early November. US’ FTC should follow in late November. UK’s CMA delayed it’s decision to March 2023.
Why wouldn’t they? It’s going to happen
I don’t see the financial risk in a corporation buying a registered trademark…

None of these businesses that Microsoft has bought have gotten better. It’s a desperate act to keep Microsoft relevant. Just make a good console and they will become relevant again.
