Changed my life!
Double the mics .. double the metal!!
My god how young they are.
Also, have they changed the lyrics over the years?
Unpopular opinion: Ozzy sucks as a lead singer. Tony Lommi’s guitar playing really made the band.
Black Sabbath was the kind of band that if they moved in next door, your lawn would die.
My god this was 52 years ago. Time, you are truly a slippery bastard.
Has he lost his mind?
Fuck yea!
I love that the drumming and drumset is so simple compared to the metal drumming that would follow. No double-bass, only two toms…simple and awesome. Not that there’s anything wrong with insane 20-piece drumsets (Peart existed during this time, of course), there’s just something so cool about this simple bare-boned drumset.
Was Oz the first headbanger?
He’s on tv right now. The Osborne’s want to believe.
Doesn’t look like he’s aged.
This whole set is pure gold. They were so young.
Iommi, heavy metal OG
You know who else was in Paris?
Invented a fucking genre
52 years…Jesus Christ
Those poor drum heads and cymbals.
Iron Man in Paris? Is that like a sequel song?
Tony Iommi. The father of heavy metal. Guy had no fingertips, being the sole guitar player, he found a way to play extra heavy by playing on the thicker strings. Practiced with a right handed guitar. Guy truly is a badass.
