Fun, nostalgic video, but Muscle Beach is much the same today.
My wife and I were in LA 20+ years ago, riding a bike along the beach in Santa Monica. The guy in front of me was up on his pedals craning his neck to see who was at Muscle Beach. It suddenly dawned on me that it was u/govschwarzenegger.
We parted ways when we got to the pier and he asked his kid “do you waaant a doughnaat?”

I used to love spending a few hours at Venice Beach on a Saturday. Eat breakfast there and walk and people watch. I recall seeing some really great stand up comics doing their acts along the walkway. I haven’t been there for several years, I’ve heard that it’s changed.
