Any mission they don’t get you out with a hose was a good one, I imagine.
Just read about this after seeing this post. Said he left his turret after taking heavy fire from german flak, wing broke, took a spin, blacked out due to altitude, and fell out of the plane. The glass shattered and broke the impact of his 4mile free fall, and he crashed onto the floor below.
Wow that’s insane.
