To be fair to other games though. Assassins creed games often place themselves in an environment that’s got heavy sunlight. When this happens that direct light source is easy to replicate as there’s less noticeable light bounce, and it’s easy to bake in those deep shadows that happen.
Less directly sunny environments often need to try and transcribe the luminosity of multiple sources and also light bounce. Neither of which are easy to make look realistic without some serious hardware.
I read some hate posts about Mirage (mostly on this subreddit lol) but currently 22 hours in and I’m rly enjoying it on pc with gamepad! Views are sometimes stunning especially when it’s almost dawn and the sun is shining low above Round City of Baghdad.
AC environments were always stunning, but they need to do something with their NPC faces… They are not standing the test of time. Just booted up Valhalla recently and damn… keep the camera zoomed out plz.
That’s impressive. I’ve seen comparisons with Unity though and Unity seems to look better. Is that right?
Consoles and PCs now have screenshot buttons

Not as good as king Kong game
Is the game worth the buy?
Too bad the gameplay is 20 years old …
I think you’re seeing things
Until you took a picture of the screen with your phone 😂
If you want to show off graphics learn how to upload screenshot from your console or pc
I thought this was one one of those ai pictures where u have to squint to see the real picture.

That’s a rock.
AC has never beaten its visual peak in 2014 with Unity
The fact this isn’t a im game screenshot as well🤯
What’s crazy is MGSPP looked just like that
I can literally see the polygons making up that cliff face. It looks like fucking Minecraft.
That’s a big Iraq
Weird how the environments in AC games have been getting better and better while the character models head in the opposite direction.
I’ve seen this enemy in Final Fantasy XV.
I can’t believe this is real
Damn you thought it was so real that you took a picture of your monitor with your phone because you thought you were really there. I get that.
Something about your comments tells me you’re unemployed
and then he took a picture of his monitor….
graphics where never the issue of AC games btw…
*All systems now have screenshot functions with easy sharing
*still uses phone doing opposite of what post is supposed to prove
This is not one of those times.
How can you say it looks realistic and then take a picture of the screen with your phone
Maybe

Ubisoft’s engine has great landscapes, but awful looking people (a shame, for a historical drama). It’s really jarring how much they conflict.
It’s a rocky outcrop. Quite a realistic looking one. Good job OP
Trash game
Now the game needs to fix their facial expressions in cutscenes
ye so do games from 2015
that’s a photo. don’t tell me it isnt. come on now.(win+shift+s please bro)

Ahh yes the breathtaking rock and fingerprint combo.🤌
