Video game box art during the 80s through to the mid-90s was really something else. In the Americas and Europe it was often painted or airbrushed, sometimes by artists that had careers doing cover art for sci fi and fantasy books, and Japanese video game box art wasn’t necessarily stylized after manga or anime — although that’s not the case for RPG Maker.
I love how this game was only one disc, but came with two manuals because it was so complex. Never did figure out how to get triggers to work correctly.

Swordsman is kind of an asshole.
Dragon dude there is just trying to give DM a light and he’s out there preparing to slice his neck, like some moron.
Spend TONS of time with that game
It has simple but complicated mechanics at the time but that’s my go-to fanfic game of all time
I actually owned that game.
My friends and I made a game where we went back in time to stop boy bands from forming and it fucked everything up.
