Love this one. I grew up in the sticks and we didn’t have cable TV until I was probably 13 or 14. Around the time we finally got it, this movie was a hot one for the movie channels to replay so I used to watch it a lot. Gave it a watch earlier this year after having not seen it for years and it still holds up. Bill Paxton is incredible as the sleazeball car salesman who wishes he was a secret agent.
If you watch this movie for anything, watch for Jamie Lee to dance for her husband in the hotel.. J to the H to the C !!! amazing after all these years.
Funny, you never see someone with their finger on the trigger like that in a movie or promo shot today. Everyone has heard of ‘trigger discipline’ and it’s like the first thing we look at because of how much guns have been discussed and pictured online.
“BAHND, JAMES BAHND!!”
Sorry about the Ruger bro.

We’re Gonna Catch Some Terrorists, We’re Gonna Beat The Crap Out Of Them, You’re Gonna Feel A Hell Of A Lot Better
One of my favourite movies, remember going to see it at the cinema.
Battaraziz…

The only time Tom Arnold was relevant.
Boris and Doris! terrific movie 🙂
True Lies along with The Fifth Element and The Hunt for Red October. The three films I will always watch if they are on TV.
She is so, surprisingly, fucking hot in the stripping scene.

True Lies was a brilliant movie and perfect for it’s time.
JLCs ample bust jiggling around in that cocktail dress did very indelible things to my young impressionable mind
Paxton, Tom and the horse are missing!
Peak JLC.

We were so innocent 30 years ago.
THE BRIDGE IS OUT!
JLC is pure old school cool
That was a fun movie to watch. Who knew Tom Arnold was so funny.
Is it a water heater?

That’s Boris and Doris, mild mannered middle class parents.
Har-ry! let me handle thiiiis!
This was probably the last great action movie. That bridge scene is still just epic.
