This was the first game I ever got to play online with that weird ps2 ethernet adapter. The game modes were a mess but really fun. Like a step above half-life private lobbies.
My cousin rented this game for a few days back then. I wanted to play it so bad, but I was grounded and not allowed to play any video games until right after she returned it haha.
I had a weird affinity for this game. The multi-player was actually very good and had one of the first instances of Infected game type that I remember. You had to kill the aliens (other players) or become one.
I also remember the Sniper Rifle in that game was insanely broken. You didn’t need to have the reticle directly on their head. You could get close enough, and a BEEP would sound indicating you should pull the trigger. Headshot every time.
Found an interesting piece of lore that talked about genetically modified animals (the data things you scan). It made an Austin Power’s reference with the “frickin’ sharks with frickin’ laser beams attached to their frickin’ heads!”
I scoured the net for the remaining pieces of lore because the xbox I had at the time was only a rental, and my play-through for the game was ultimately limited. Still have the game, though!
There was a section of this game where you had to go through a pitch black room and you could hear the enemies breathing harder and harder, it scared the shit out of me as a kid to the point where i didn’t want to do it.
Wow thats unlocked a odd memory. Somehow I ended up with this disk that had a bunch of game demos on it when I was a kid and I would constantly play this and Getaway Black Monday on it.
Mad how when you’re a kid you’re able to just play the same shit on repeat and not get bored
I remember I rented this from blockbuster, beat it, and about 2 weeks later I wanted to rent it again but it wasn’t there. I complained to my friend at school the next day about it and it turned out he was the one who rented it, so we played the shit out of the co op haha
What was everyone’s online gamertag for this game? I’m sure I’ll run into a few people I recognize because this game became such a small community of online gamers over time. We all became friends. It was crazy! I miss and love this game forever!
Fun fact, David Duchovny voices the main character.
Also, right now, Warner holds the rigths for this game.
Was this one good? I only played the game called Blacksite Area 51. It was bad. Are the games related/connected?
I remember buying this game and coming home to play it but I can’t remember a single thing from the actual game itself.
Going to assume I found it boring. Or that it was broken and I couldn’t play.
I heard that the US Air Force bought the rights to distribute this game for free along with The Suffering.
I vaguely remember this one. Can’t remember any gameplay of it though. I thought it was a light gun game.
One of the main things i remember is that it had some intrusive DRM that fucked up my computer.
Those little hairs are the underside of the eye.
This game is such an under rated gem dude. I wish midway wouldn’t have gone bankruptcy I wish they made a remastered.
Is definitely a game

This game fucks.

I had no idea this was a thing. I remember owning a PS1 game with the same name. Is it an on rails shooter like the PS1 game is?
Recently got to play this game with my brother at a retro arcade. Lots of fun.
this is definitely the most attractive version of a human!
ok?
This game was my introduction to dual wielding shotguns, too much fun. Don’t remember anything else about it though, but that was 18 years ago for me.
This game was sooooo good!

Was a fun game from what I remember
Damn that was a fun game
I was way too young to be playing this lol. Bought in, had friends over, first multi-player map we play? Bloodbath.. hahaha.
This game was intense, scary, gory. It was just downright fun.
Used to love playing this. Such a fun campaign.

Really scared playing this game as a youngin
I played the fuck out of the demo for this on MK Deception
This game was very mediocre
absolutely loved this game.
Would love a remake of this.
Even the MP was pretty good.
holy fucking shit i forgot about this mf. can you still play this anywhere?
The multiplayer for this game was incredibly fun for it’s time

I liked this game. Had some challenging fights but thought the guns were good. Multiplayer was fun as well
