Oh stop it I feel old now. I’m in college now and I remeber watching this on YouTube when I was 9 or 10 and I loved it (Markiplier I believe)
Played it two years ago. Should really go back for the dlc. Amazing game.
I tried playing it. Problem is, when i did, i got stuck before i even encountered the Alien.
I have tried to play this game several times. I’m a huge alien fan. But it takes soooo long to get to the actual alien. So long that I just couldn’t get myself into it enough to keep playing.
Just started my first play through a week ago. Playing it through with the bro but he keeps making excuses why he can’t play😅🤣
Bought it, got scared af within the first 30 minutes. Never touched it again. And that’s a good thing lol, it scared me which a horror game is supposed to do.
There’s a relatively decent VR mod for it as well, takes it to a whooooole new pants-shitting level.
I’ll play it at some point. I have read that playing on “hard” can lead to too much rubberbanding, so the alien always stays close to you. The solutions I’ve read are: play normal difficulty or use an “alien randomizer” mod. IDK which I’ll do when I play it.
Bit of trivia about this game, when Creative Assembly first pitched it to SEGA they were rejected, so they just went behind SEGAs back and started work anyway. When SEGA first saw the demo they completely changed their position.

trying to but the long ass intro until the alien (poperly) appears takes the wind out of my sails everytime. Usually I get to the Tram after baldy dies and thats it.
Fantastic game, nails the Alien atmosphere.
Also looks kinda like Rose Byrne.
I played it years ago on PS4 and recently downloaded it for my new Switch OLED. Still terrifying! Still amazing atmosphere.
Every now and then, I dust it off. Love this game.

It’s the best Alien game of all time. There’s NOTHING like it on the market even still today. I’m still holding out hope for a sequel…
One of the most criminally underrated games of all time. I loved it when it came out but not sure I could go back again.

I just beat it yesterday for the first time. My god the absolute hell Ripley had to go through.
Way too overrated and too long imo, good game nonetheless but it got pretty boring for me after a few hours.

First time I saw the Xenomorph and hid in a locker, I had to count to 200 before I would get out.
200 became 300…
I really want to replay Alien Isolation but I have a huge backlog so T_T moreover in these months will be released big games…
I remember the human ai being horrible, the robots walking around to be pretty braindead and used way too often, the alien itself wasn’t too smart either, the puzzles sucked, but my god the game was beautiful looking.
I will never forgive IGN for their review of this.
I have only played it once, I can’t play it again as my heart can’t take it. It is however the best alien game ever game and one of the finest horror games ever made
