So I was watching the film and got to the scene with Harry/Johnny facing Evangeline’s grave.
And then a detail caught my eye. Evangeline had been born in 1918. Same year as Harry and Johnny.
It caught my eye because in the book she is ten years or more older than Johnny. Remember what Ethan Krusemark said about Johnny. He had tried to duck out of the deal back then and found about an occult ritual: ‘he needed a victim, someone his own age’
Alan Parker needed Evangeline to had been born in 1918!
What do you think? It looks personal, some kind of signature…we don’t know Evangeline’s birth date, but we know Parker’s: Feb.14. Just like Johnny and Harry.
