  • These people defending him….. the point is its not his fucking money so dont take it. Oh its a boring job…. get another one. Dont leave cash laying around because your lazy lol. Christ. In this day and age people should just consider they are being recorded oh and they should consider not being POS’s.

  • Wait so you have so much social anxiety that you can’t answer the door for pizza delivery but you can chase the delivery driver and confront him.

This just looks like you’re fishing for someone to do what the delivery driver did. If I was making as little as that amazon driver is making I would probably do the same. How do I know you put that money there. If I were strapped for cash and I found money just laying around and when I pick it up some random dude comes up to me saying it’s his I’m denying it even if you got me on cam taking it.

Hope you learnt a lesson. These are not robots making daily deliveries of cheap shit and food you don’t need to your house. Answer the door when PEOPLE come to bring you shit, I love my country. Where I live if you order something the delivery driver comes, knocks on your door, if you’re there you take your shit say have a good day and go on with your life, if you’re not at home, delivery driver comes, knocks on your door and you don’t answer, they take your package to the nearest pick up location which is never more than a 5 minute drive away.

  • > For no-contact deliveries I’ll add a note to grab the tip left partially under our welcome mat, had a delivery coming up so left a $20 out for the pizza guy.

Is the Amazon delivery not no-contact?

  • Kinda nuts. If you work doing deliveries these days, I’d imagine you’d just assume you’re on camera every time you approach a home. Orwellian dystopia, yada… yada…, but still: smile, you’re on camera!

  • Even tried the whole “tying my shoes to get low to the ground” trick. On “Survivor,” there are some challenges where they have to take an idol from a challenge when no one is looking and that’s the kind of thing they try.

  • Kinda just sad watching a dude going full Ocean’s 11 over $20. The fake shoe lace tie and phone scroll while he tries to formulate a plan. The return and box move smoke screen… Ooof, hard to watch.

  • It would be a great idea for a competitor of Amazon to create and film ‘traps’ to catch employees acting shady.

Not saying that thats what happened here, but you have to think about how all this content gets to us.

  • of course we don’t have the video of them talking to the driver. If I was the drive I would have just said ‘well, I assumed it was for me’ and left it at that and took off. you don’t just leave cash as ‘bait’ at your front door step and get upset when the ‘wrong’ person takes it. Especially when you have snacks there as well. of course he’s going to take it. If you’re so generous why do you even care? Also, talk about lazy. Answer the door to pay someone.

  • As a UPS driver, who has received my fair share of gifts around Christmas and whatnot, I would never in a million years assume cash on a doorstep was for me unless it specifically said it was for me.

This Amazon driver is an A-Hole.

  • I mean there are snacks and drinks and $20 bucks and you get have tracking to know your package was gonna be delivered. I would just grabbed it and been like awesome thank you guys so much! And not denied a thing. But you know shady people mentality here. Risking his shit for $20 bucks and being sketchy the whole time. This is the guy you go out on a limb to give a chance and then fucks it up. For $20.

  • kinda bizzaro what he did around taking the $20 but who is to say it is not meant for him. If I was delivering packages and saw $20 tucked under a mat I might consider it a tip as well.

Just answer your door and pay in person.

  • I wonder how much internet clout I can get filming the lesser rat in the race getting to the cheese I intended to give to the greater rat? I’ll leave some granola in the maze so the spectators know I’m benevolent, but man it better ruffle your feathers if you see the lesser rat getting that cheese.

Fuck you, OP. If you’re so rich and impersonal that you can have all of this delivered straight to your door with snacks outside, you can just set another 20 out and hope the delivery driver needed it more than you did. Reminds me of people setting out bait bikes to steal with some kind of trap attached, just to record people getting hurt taking them. Yeah, they shouldn’t have stolen, but man you’re an asshole.

  • Ah, I get it now. It’s a hidden camera and a $20 as bait. The pizza story is bogus in order to give us an excuse as to why it’s there. He waits for someone to take the bait because of course someone will eventually. It’s $20 and to many that’s just to hard to pass up. He even makes up a story about confronting the driver, which totally didn’t happen. Nice try

  • this truly is insane. imagine getting fired (because bezos is insane and that clearly isn’t delivering and running back to urinate in a plastic bottle level of haste) and charged with a crime for an hour’s wage. Then being shown the evidence that clearly shows you committing the crime and then denying it anyway

  • So not only did OP leave out bait, they also went out to confront the poor driver as if it was a sting operation. I bet OP also calls police if they see a single mother shoplift baby food.
