Wtf? You got a PS4 copy of Cyberpunk? Are you out of your mind?
Yes. Got this edition for $15!
That’s the good stuff. It used to be you got a manual with every game you bought. Still have the one from vampire the masquerade redemption
Thats a pretty map! Though i just love a good map!
What does one do with the extras?
I think it’s kinda sad that nowadays when you buy a physical copy of a game sometimes it doesn’t even come with a little manual inside anymore, it’s just the disk and some ads printed on a little piece of paper.
I’ve bought douzens of physical games in the last years and the only one that had extras inside like postcards or artworks, the game soundtrack, stickers etc were Elden Ring and Cyberpunk, and i thought it was a really nice little surprise. So I guess it doesn’t cost that much more to include those little extras so it would be nice if more games did it, but it seems like it’s going the opposite way in 90% of the recent games I bought where you only get a plastic box, a bluray and that’s it, not even a manual that explains the mechanics of the game like it used to be
I got a Spider-Bot keychain for pre-ordering Spider-Man 2
if the pattern of capitalism and enshittification is anything to go by, these extras will eventually either be digitized or sold separately… enjoy the good things while they last
Yeah cyber punk gets an a for that. One of the things it did right on release
Yeah well I got a dead bug in mine. It’s easy to celebrate without knowing someone else’s traumas. Think on your sins.
I got this edition full price lmfao, but only because I wanted a new game for the PS5. I was stoked when I saw all of this in the case slip.
Im glad the game eventually got good so my launch collectors edition doesn’t feel like a failure anymore
The digital extras are pretty good. PDF s of some of the source books irrc, if you wanted to play the 30 year old ttrpg
I got the same release version for ps4. If only the actual game wasn’t so buggy on release. Gonna install it again and see what state it’s in now after such a long time.
early infocom games were known for having a whole bunch of extras like that
They only put this stuff there cause they knew the game was unfinished at release
Nice. Enjoy
Damn I forgot dogtown didn’t exist until 2.0 – I’m playing the dlc and I was wondering what was there until now
Definitely a plus for that
I always liked these big maps of the game as an extra. My favourite is the one you got with Skyrim.
Still missing all the promised content that they lied about to those of us who waited 7 years for this game. Oh wow they gave me a map! Big fuckin deal
Just picked up Mario RPG the other day. Opening that case to just see a glorified SD Card definitely bummed me out.
They could have literally just copied the original SNES instruction booklet and updated the controls throughout.
For a game pushing nostalgia, they sure made the physical version an after thought.
I used to love well crafted, detailed instruction manuals. MGS4 had a great one, & We Love Katamari on PS2
