Wow 😳. After all these years, this is the *1st* time I’ve seen there “official video” of Would. I’ve seen so many different live versions of this, but never thier official video.
I still prefer live versions (of any band/singer), official videos can be good and artistic, but live is pure raw music.
In 1992, I picked up the Singles soundtrack and stuck it in my Walkman. I brought it to my new friend Jan. I got in her house and told her to stick the headphones on and listen to THIS.
I played Would? and she held the headphones close to her ears. Eyes down, she ignored me and listened intently. When it ended she took them off and said, “That song was fucking AMAZING. Where did you get this?”
So we drank some wine and listened to the rest. It was a memorable evening.
Woah!!, crazy memories. No idea why, but this song was the first MP3 i ever downloaded on my computer circa ’96.
Love this song, thanks for sharing!
Any time it’s cold and rainy, this is the song in my head.
Sean Kinney is a beast of a drummer.
[Them Bones](https://youtu.be/wFgAE5SgFnw?si=aCPRV75Pj1ecllTk) is the best song on that album, fight me.
RIP Layne Staley
Alice In Chains and Stone Temple Pilots were probably my 2 favorite bands in that era of time.
The cameraman/editor is doing everything possible to not show that those guitars are not plugged in.
Fun fact: the drums are not plugged in either.

Favorite band from the 90s and it isn’t even close.
Unplugged version is simply incredible.

The entire show was simply incredible. I remember watching it when it debuted and I felt moved by it.

That’s a masterpiece
was one of my dad’s favorite songs.
Should have been about actual wood tho.
My favorite band. Favorite song, don’t follow, that harmonica just slaps.
“I forgot my women, lost my friends,
Things I’ve done, and where I’ve been
Sleep in sweat, the mirrors cold,
See my face, it’s growing old,
Scared to death, the reasons why,
Do whatever to get me by,
Think about the things I’ve said,
Read the page, it’s cold and dead
And take me home”
RIP, Legend.
