It looks good but the volume has ruined almost everything when it isn’t being used correctly.. those pillars or rocks stand out so much its bothering my eyes ..
I’m just curious to see how this goes over with more general audience Star Wars fans. My fiancé has never seen any of the cartoons and she basically just shrugged at Ahsoka in her Mando episode so I’m wondering if they’ll be able to win people like her over.
This certainly feels like the Star Wars project that has the most wider universe characters that mainstream audiences may not be familiar with (Thrawn, Sabine and I think that was even David Tenant’s character Huyang from The Clone Wars at 1:34?) so i’m curious on how they will properly introduce these characters in to the show. But given how Filoni has dealt with the lore well in all his previous shows I’m pretty confident that he should pull it off again here!
Looks pretty good. Maybe a bit cheaper than I would like, but could definitely be worse. Hera looks surprisingly good and Ray Stevenson looks badass. I do wish Sabine had the short hair, but she also looks spot on otherwise. Also, are those red lightsabers different than usual? They look kind of orange and I dig it.
I love these characters so wholeheartedly. MEW and Bordizzo are perfect translations of their animated counterparts, and Chopper looks like he was pulled straight out of *Rebels*. Words can’t capture how overjoyed I am right now.
I don’t want to be overtly negative, but every Disney Star Wars project just feels like a coin flip of quality now. Is this going to be insanely good with absolute banger moments of world building (Andor Prison) and character studies? (The Mandalorian, Luthen in Andor) Or something that is at best forgettable (Rise, Book of Boba Fett) and at worst borderline painful to watch (Lookin at you Little-Leia-running-scene.)
I’m too tired to even get excited for anymore of these shows. At this point Star Wars is basically “Remember this from Clone Wars? Oh what about this from Rebels? Ain’t this cool?”
I am hoping we get Thrawn based off the newer novels. Rebels did him well, but learning about what brought him to the Empire made his character twice as good.
Clone Wars Ahsoka is my favorite character in the Star Wars universe by far. I struggle a bit with the live action version, but I am still very psyched for this. I pretty much would be willing to watch any Clone Wars spinoff. Obviously Thrawn is a very cool character as well, so that will be cool.
At this point, every Star Wars trailer that comes out I’m gonna be looking for whether it looks like Andor or it looks like everything else. This one looks like everything else.
My boy Thrawn up in this bitch.

It looks good but I worry this is relying on past shows too much. Main plot elements and characters seem to be continuing from rebels.
Hopefully the lightsabre combat is better than OB1.
Is that Ray Stevenson with a lightsaber

Hera my beloved <3
Sabine looks amazing too!
Hwood needs to get rid of Volume, this looks expensive and Syfy/CW level cheap at the same time, those rock pillars look straight out of prequels
Joruus C’baoth maybe
Thrawn in live action, here we go, y’all. I really hope they brought back Lars to play him.
Time for Filoni to push his OC as the most important character in all of Star Wars.
It’s simple: I see my girl Mon Mothma, and I cheer
Huh, they really showed a lot with this trailer. They’re usually so secretive.

This looks like a variant Thrawn-Trilogy plot in a Rebels live action show. And I am absolutely here for it.
Bring it!

Something looks a little off with this but I’m not sure why. Colour grading looks unfinished, but maybe it’ll be better by launch?

Exciting for me. Ahsoka has come a long way since the clone wars
Here’s hoping they don’t wrap up Thrawn in a single season. Such a great character hopefully they’ll give him a fair share of screen time.
Long shot but maybe bring up the grysk threat

We’ll see I guess
the orange lightsabers bring me back to my days of playing the old republic
With this show, I really only care about their portrayal of Thrawn.
Karabast!
Heir to the Empire
*Leo sitting up and pointing gif*
The war criminal returns. Chopper getting ready to kill thousands in live action.
I don’t know what the actresses who work for Disney have done to the hair and makeup department, but what is *happening* with these wigs?!
That empty seat next to Hera .. 😭
Is this one of those things where I need to watch 100 hours of backstory?
I’m too tired to even get excited for anymore of these shows. At this point Star Wars is basically “Remember this from Clone Wars? Oh what about this from Rebels? Ain’t this cool?”
In Star Wars, no one is ever really gone.

Blackbeard with a bloody lightsaber sign me the fuck up
TITUS PULLO!!!
Crazy how this is the same franchise as Andor

I just couldn’t get into any of the animated Star Wars shows, tired multiple times. I have no idea the significance of any of these characters lol
So excited! Looks awesome!
This looks fucking sick
Why does this give me a “fan-film” vibe? I can’t put my figure on it but this looks off.
