Dude I would pay money to watch Elon troll all over your dumbass. You’re just clickbaiting people to watch your dumbass talk about shit you can’t even explain.
I work in marketing, Twitter was absolutely broken way before Elon, ROI was nonexistent I couldn’t even compare it to Google or Facebook because there was no data to compare.
The reason why we, advertisers, pulled our client’s money out was because Elon’s suspicion of bots corrupting the data made perfect sense (millions of “engagement” numbers with no sales or interaction), not because a couple of irrelevant celebrities boycotted the platform.
I know fixing it would take months, but I’m more hopeful of what they are doing now than whatever the previous administration was doing.
Same with Facebook, Meta appears to be a bad idea, but their classic social network keeps working fine, so ultimately, if it comes to scale down their effort in Meta, they can accept the mistake and move on, I respect Zuck’s willing to try something new.
Business are complicated, and pushing tech forward is always a risk, this guy’s arguments are half assumptions half surface optics, I bet he’s just another pseudo-influencer crying for his free blue checkmark.
This push on Elon being dumb and all this other shit is annoying. If this man is dumb then wtf am I or we as a normal/avg group of people. To say he is dumb is ignorant as fuck. You can hate him or whoever you want but to say this guy is dumb is laughable. The amount of sheer success he’s had but he’s dumb? Gtfo
Without even watching it I know he’s talking shit. Elon is the most successful man in the world and has a space program along with loads of other projects. You might not agree with his idea of free speech on Twitter if it doesn’t align with your politics but you certainly can’t call him dumb.
The hate here rather than criticism is palpable. Funny and completely false thing for example:
>Twitter has spent the last 15 years painstakingly building credibility…
They have? Twitter was the punchline of social media regarding credibility. Their credibility in any form was a dumpster fire. So no, that wasn’t some huge source of value for them.
As far as the rest, it’s a hugely confident amount of predictions about what _might_ happen. Ok sure, Twitter might end up worthless. That’s certainly a possibility but when did it become the smart move to joke about powerful people making powerful moves that might fail? That’s just insecure envy. Elon knew the risks and moved forward anyway. He might fail, but we’ll see. Also, as opposed to Tim Cook and Apple, Twitter is facilitating communication inside China. Tim Cook somehow isn’t hated though through shutting down air drop for the CCP for protests.
Screaming on how the smart move is to do absolutely nothing and leave things the way you are makes you sound more like a parent from Footloose than some wise influential figure.
We’re all idiots in some form or fashion, having domain specific knowledge doesn’t keep you from a bad call or take. He’s just a normal person with a big head start.
“Elons companies suck…. space x is cool, but he didn’t design the space x rockets himself so it doesnt count” (paraphrasing)
So he gets no credit for pushing innovation forward? Whether it works or fails (an endeavor), at least hes trying something new
he’s a lot of things, but an idiot is not one of them. an idiot would have lost all that wealth long ago.
Adam is my spirit animal.
musk is one of the most talented men in the word. Love your musk. thank you a lot.
Funny thing, Adam is also an idiot.
Yes Adam, only a dumb person would open source most of the patents generated by their companies free for public to use.

that man is reddit incarnate

Adam Conover is [Dunning-Kruger](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning%E2%80%93Kruger_effect) incarnate
At this point, Adam ruining something is a surefire way to know that Adam actually doesn’t know anything about it.
Is this sub for this kind of thing?
I don’t know much about Adam Conover, but there sure are a lot of butthurt Musk fans crying in here.
How can anyone listen to this asshat? like an ear worm carrying a bag full of hand grenades wriggling down my ear and I only got about 30seconds in

We get it, you hate Elon. Get in line.
