The tavluġun (chin tattoo) was by Holly Nordlum in May 2017. Iqsraġun (cheek tattoo) by the subject herself, Talivaaq Qinugana.
Can someone more well-read in history than I am explain why native Alaskans look like Asians? Much more so than native Americans. I assume an explorer party long ago, but do we know for sure?
I’ve seen quite a few women with the chin tattoo, all have been different designs. What is the significance of it? Very, very cool.
