A lot of games are terrible at handling patch notes and informing the player. Factorio does it right! All patch notes, categorised for easy reading, from all patches, directly in the game. Even with (some) links to the report about the issue.

As someone who works in IT its not just games its soo many companies with pieces of software. Mobile apps tend be the worst offenders. Like putting “bug fixes” really narrows it down. Or being cheeky like we “fine tuned our app to bring you the best experience possible”. LIke yea that helps.
Factorio is a labor of love made by a bunch of gamers for an even bigger lot gamers. I love this game and this is the best game I’ve bought in a very long time.

I love the game but normally people don’t care much about the patch notes. Just the balance and user facing stuff
