Gray wolves are in the 100-150 pound range. Large domestic dog breeds are similarly sized.

That’s a small husky and a huge wolf. Seriously there are many variety of wolfs that are smaller than some huskies.

If both were full grown males at the tallest of their breed then the wolf would be around 50% larger. As presented, the wolf is appears to be approximately twice the height at the shoulder.
Possible explanations:
– Small full grown female Husky versus tall male wolf would have the wolf be approximately 80″ taller.
– Juvenile or unusually small Husky vs tall male wolf could easily have the wolf be twice the size.

Basically, the wolf appears to be far too tall if you expect them both to be average size. If you assume smallest husky vs largest wolf then it’s still a little off but not by much. It’s quite possible that one or both of the animals is a little outside of the expected range. It could easily be a shop, however it’s presenting an improbable size comparison, not an impossible one.
