When I was in high school these [balance bracelets](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Balance) were going around. i always suspected it was bs but never had enough information to verify how.
at least it looked cool.
Thanks for posting this, there was a Shark Tank video about a bracelet that had similar powers posted today that claimed something similar. Had no idea about the physics behind it, very cool.
This is also how all those aikido videos with people seemingly falling over for no reason work. They’re not fighting, they’re training this subtle manipulation in balance.
Yo, where can I buy that magic wombat?
So this is how my mom’s naturalist judged which supplements for her to use.
You would hold the bottle in your hand, hold your arm at your side, and the naturalist would press down on the elbow (without standing on one leg). If the arm went weak, the supplement was no good, if it stayed strong, she’d “prescribe” it.
To be fair, my mom is 70 now and going strong despite several genetic things wrong with her. If I showed her this she’d probably just get mad at me and claim that modern medicine gives her much worse side effects than natural supplements ever did.
