Bro i just booted up my PS4 after a year of not using it, since i bought PC, and i forgot i have this game… I completed about 8% of it, now im on 59% and is one of the best action/stealth games there is. I like the fact that u can finish one mission in 5 different ways, just like Hitman, and that feels so good.
That was the first game I played that had a dog companion that was an actual asset in combat. Sorry, but Dogmeat was great but not really an asset in combat.
I also like Boom Boom in Far Cry 5, he’s very effective once leveled up.
You should try IRL/outside. Nearly limitless canine companion options. But sometimes there is a bit of a grind to keep them healthy (watch out for surprise medical bills!)
Game is Metal Gear Solid V
Such a good pupper. 🥲
Escort your dog to X. They will not stop to fight and travel at a different speed than you.
Would love to see this game get the ol’ next gen graphics update. That and Batman…
Easily one of the best dogs in gaming.
Ever play Necromunda? Modding your dog does not seem that humble.
Its fox
Didn’t cod ghosts have a dog companion, I know they talked about a dog in the e3
Games that let you pet the dog are better.

Dogmeat ftw.
Shadow Dancer – The Secret of Shinobi. Best pupper.
Always had to pet Cerberus in Hades when given the chance.
DJ Peach Cobbler has a very different opinion on this:

I love and hate games that gives you dog because I always feel like the game will kill the dog
Yes. and then I always leave them at the base so they don’t get hurt
FarCry 5 and Boomer, not only could you pet him but he’d fetch guns and ammo for you from dead enemies
The Last of Us 2 🙂
I was really glad when I found Brown in Rule of Rose.

I get too anxious about the dog dying. I’m fine losing any other member of my party, but that doggo’s got to live.

Call of Duty Dog
Not a dog but Cheeseburger is the best animal companion
Fuckin love that dog. Best knifework I’ve ever seen so I rate it a perfect 5/7
DD is basically cheating. He makes the game too easy.
If the dog is your companion, they’re just gonna kill it for the story.
Animals you can pet and keep moving
are much better imo.
Do the wolfs from Far Cry Primal count? Your first pet is a wolf as well so
Fable 2!
Gosh. I wish Red Dead Redemption 2 allowed you to have a dog or cat companion.
dead to rights
Interceptor from FFVI was as badass as any character in the game.
Minecraft
But can your dog poop on command like the horse can?
That’s a fox. Now Rex or Dog Meat? Those are my boys. The bestest.
I don’t like dog companions in videogames because I enter a constant state of fear
Elden ring
Only if the dog isn’t
A: a fucking idiot that ruins stealth and gives your position away all the time
OR
B: an immersion-breaking invisidogâ„¢ that can stand on an enemy’s toes without being seen as long as your character is crouching.
You keep calling him a dog but anyone can tell he’s clearly a **wolf!**
Thats a fox
I disagree. Every time I have a dog companion I am extremely stressed because I’m afraid they’ll die lol.
Half-Life 2 D.O.G.
Dogmeat in Fallout 4 is the best video game dog companion ever made.
Secret of Evermore!
Diamond Dogs
