In my opinion, this is one of the greatest comedy bits of all time. Its perfect in every way and should be studied by everyone who wants to go into any form of entertainment or story telling. Bill Burr takes a premise that we arent supposed to laugh at, puts us in the shoes of every character, and repeatedly flips how we feel by slowly divulging new information. Masterfully performed with is sound effects and use of mic. Bill Burr is in total control of the audience’s emotions.
I have already seen this several times, and really dig the idea of animation with standup. There are opportunities to throw in little visual gags, and animators get to have fun with it. I highly recommend Tig Notaro’s Drawn special. This helicopter animation is in the top five for me, along with this: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tljMLMxil2M](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tljMLMxil2M)
The live version is much funnier imo.
