Not me, not playing Silent Hill One for 3 years because I couldn’t get the guide book or have access to the internet. My husband beat the puzzle for me.
MOHAA! I still remember accidentally stumbling into multiplayer hosting my own server just to walk around the maps. Then one day a player randomly joined my game. Was the coolest feeling and a complete accident. Pretty sure I was in the 5th or 6th grade.
For my entire childhood and adulthood I was convinced that the Sega Aladdin game was only 5 stages long because I couldn’t ever get past the second cave of wonders level. It wasn’t until a few months ago when I bought it in ps5 that I finally beat it (with the new save function obvs. Haven’t improved THAT much in 20 years of playing) and realized that are a TON more.
Playing the same stage many days? Of course I don’t know that sensation. I didn’t try to beat the bike stage in Battletoads for a week before making to the end.
Same thing for the Top Gear 3000 last stage on hard.
Nope, never had that sensation. No clue why someone would think that.
I do wish we could have high quality games like we used to, no battlepass or microtransactions, just paying for the game, and nothing else unless you want DLC
Take me back to MOHAA, BF1942, and Star Trek Voyager Holomatch. That was my happy place. I have not enjoyed any multi-player since that era. Can’t get into it
This level actually had an Easter egg where if you played on hard and your entire squad survived the escort to the end, it would send you to a secret level afterwards.
The secret level was a hide and seek where the computer would give you time to hide then try and find you. If it found you, it would shoot you with a bazooka and kill you.
I wonder how this level would go down in today’s gaming space. Getting sniped instantly from nowhere was frustrating but holy crap it really made this level extremely tense – like it would do in real life
And Giacchino’s soundtrack! Absolutely incredible work
Let them.come to you man. You can’t go gun-ho here. This ain’t Call of Duty 3.

Man games back then were tough and cruel

You can’t medal with the honor of older games..
I remember memorize the location of every enemy snipers in that map… they were the one killing me.
Isn’t that the first level?

I can hear this image.
Never played MoH back then. It was COD 2 for me. I was initially thinking this was Brother in Arms.
15 year old me used to be so good at clicking on people’s heads with the k98 in that game.
35 year old me…. sticks to turn based strategy games now.
MOHAA had the best multiplayer as I remember from my childhood, my friends and I still host lan games to this day.
I just got punched back to the golden era of Gaming.
Stop that, it hurts to come back to today…
Is that the sniper level from Medal Of Honor? That level was hard.
played at lunch at work 15 years ago snipers everywhere…
Holy fuck what would I give to go back to ’03. No concussions yet, no debilitating hip pain yet, no lifelong chronic pain in 2/3rds of my joints.
On a side note, I still regularly pull out this mofo onto C: and wind it down. One more time.
Still hoping for a new Modern Warfare 3 Survival mode like game. That game mode was amazing!!!
Oh how I miss medal of honor games. That was the golden age of gaming. YOU’RE JIMMY PATTERSON!!!
I must have played thousands of hours of MOHAA sniper only as a kid. Still remember all the clans and who’s who players. Good times
MoH Rising sun?

I’m glad I got to experience the golden era of gaming. This shit today sucks ass.
