what part of the world do you live in? i’m in oregon in the USA and we have jays too but they don’t look anything like this. beautiful bird!
The ones in my area are mean spirited, hateful creatures

Nobody expects the inquisitive blue jay!
Years ago, our local TV station had a news story about a nearby town that has an annual bluebird festival… and they showed a graphic of a blue jay. At the end of the broadcast, the news guy said, “We’ve received several emails…”

I’m in Niagara. Blue Jay’s are dicks. They will eat Robin eggs n shit, and are pretty mean.
Bluejays are corvids making them cousins to crows and ravens.

and just like their cousens the crows, ravens, and magpies… they can learn to talk.. and are jerks to those who arn’t nice to them

Beautiful birds, but they are mean and loud AF in the wee hours of the morning. They also seem to really like dry dog food.
Mean birds
Beautiful birds. Years ago we had hundreds blue jays and other birds around here making such a lively ruckus every morning now days nothing. We sleep next to an open bedroom window and no bird chirps from outside at all, absolutely none. No bluejays, robins, english sparrows, none at all, so sad.
So beautiful until they open their mouths.
