>In a world where robotic children are purchased as live-in babysitters, a father and daughter attempt to save the life of their robotic family member, Yang, who has become unresponsive.
Saw this at Sundance and loved it! Had been anticipating this since reading the short story and watching Kogonada’s first film Columbus. Did not disappoint!
Having a mustache is Colin Farrell’s way of ‘rolling up his sleeves’. You just know he’s gonna have an unexpectedly good accent or extremely convincing anxious tics. Or both.
Farrell has built one unique career – from emerging heart-throb to bland leading man box office failure and now a wide variety of roles in movies of all scales.
> the year is 2054. Following the seventh consecutive term of President Andrew Yang, all children are now required to be conceived using his DNA. Citizens must make regular tributes of whipped cream directly into young Yanglings mouths. This is life. After Yang.
Anyone remember the interview Colin Farrell did on a local talk show? It was a big deal when it came out because he was so candid about life and his career.
Can’t find it, but I remember it being a great interview.
A24 never disappoints. I’ll be watching this.
Trailer premieres tomorrow
Directed by Kogonada (2017’s Columbus)

It’s still January and I already know who’s gonna win the “worst poster of the year” award.
Nice. Is that the woman from queen & slim? If so, she was amazing in that. Shout out Colin Farrell too, he’s the man.
This is in irobot by Isaac Asimov
Do I have to see BEFORE YANG first?
Kidding. This sounds cool. And Colin is awesome.
Yang gang
Big year for clones and AI humans with this, Dual, and the A24 one
Andrew Yang will stop in nothing to be president so now he’s making a movie of what life would be like after he was.
Seems like they’re dumping this on Showtime like they did with The Humans. There’s a Showtime logo in the bottom of the poster.
Farrell has built one unique career – from emerging heart-throb to bland leading man box office failure and now a wide variety of roles in movies of all scales.
I just watched The Killing of a Sacred Deer and I’m ready for more Colin Farrell.
pretty diverse
I don’t think I’ve seen an A24 movie I didn’t like.
