One of my favorites! I’m 18 again and your love is STILL like nuclear waste.
The former lead singer of the Tuff Darts was Robert Gordon, but he left the band before they recorded this album. Gordon went on to a pretty notable career in the rockabilly revival, making two albums with Link Wray, the latter of which included the Bruce Springsteen song, “Fire”, with Springsteen himself playing piano on the track.
During Gordon’s tenure with the Tuff Darts, they recorded three tracks for Live at CBGB’s: [All for the Love of Rock and Roll](https://youtu.be/381hvkh4vj4), [Slash](https://youtu.be/WCWRie95vHs), and [Head Over Heels](https://youtu.be/4k-WqVKnhMQ).
What’s the genre description mean? I don’t hear really hear the punk
They fit better under Power Pop or New Wave, but those genres were contemporaries of punk.
