I worked on some building sites in the UK in the late 80s and on one there was a bricklaying team of Asian guys. They must have stopped everyone at the site at some point to say “Do you know what the problem with this place is? Too many chiefs, not enough Indians.” Then they would fall about laughing.
When you think of it, it’s pathetic that one explorer who wanted to find a route to India ended up in America and called the natives Indians and it still sticks around today. How stupid is this
You want to me to hire you to build a building, out of building materials, for people to be inside of… and you can’t be arsed to put *letters* in the right place in your advertising?
What’s with the kerning of “now try”? Why is “No Plans / Drawing. . .” falling off the cliff? Shouldn’t a builder try to put their best foot forward with their signage?
‘They’re not wrong’ is usually used when people are right by accident. This is the second time I’ve seen it used in the last couple of days when it is pretty clear that whatever was done was clearly intentional rather than the result of a misunderstanding.
Ngl might be one of best slogans I’ve seen and I’ll bet it works too
Clever! 😄
I’d hire them just for that sense of humor.
Idk, they don’t even have plans or drawings
That’s great.
👍😂

Yeah the Indians were not known for their buildings. I’ll pass until you get some Egyptians on board. They know how to build things that last

I don’t get it… when have I tried the cowboys?

Please do the needful!
Indians have the dad humour market cornered

No plan and drawing
The kerning between “try” and “the”…
There’s a whole extra goddamned space in there!

You fellers must be cheap as fuck!
When can y’all start?
Love that the “No Plans and Drawings” text is dropping
This is amazing advertising
I would hire them. Excellent slogan.

No plans or drawings? Dear fuck, I hope this isn’t commercial buildings.
You got the biggest showoff and the biggest hoarder of wealth working together.
I saw a scaffolding truck which read: Your erections are safe in our hands.
