Isn’t that biodegradable plastic though?
Maybe the straw will biodegrade when exposed to air. In which case it’s not a viable solution. Paper straws work for the most part kids
They went from plastic straws wrapped in paper, to paper straws wrapped in plastic.
We have something similar at my work but it’s paper they’re wrapped in. All of the paper just goes into our normal bins.
All these efforts crack me up. The entire notion that “industries are responsible” too.
Who do you people think are buying the stuff? You’re the ones using straws lol tf I haven’t used a straw as far as I can remember, and if all the people who didn’t need a straw didn’t use them, straws wouldn’t be an issue. If y’all didn’t buy and toss hundreds of tons of crap you don’t need there’d be no problems.
But keep shoveling burgers and sodas into your fat spoiled kids and pointing your sausage finger.
The design of the straw is what is a danger to wildlife. The plastic wrapping is more or less just extra trash to throw into the environment. We need to do better.
He a little slow, but he’s got the spirit.
Sustainably unsustainable irony
It’s a biofilm that breaks down faster than traditional plastic.

Come on and do a little work and research a subject before attempting a “gotcha” post.
