Saw them live as an opener for Phil Elverum/The Microphones. The girls are so bubbly and have this dainty demeanor about them. I thought it would have reflected in the music.
Boy was I wrong. Blew me away. Fantastic opener for Phil. Wouldn’t ever forget that night.

Listen, I love screaming or guttural vocal styles well enough, but this is just horrible to listen to. The best ones make it at least semi melodic imo.
There’s nothing wrong with clean vocals, guys. It doesn’t mean you’re “not hard enough” just because you can carry a tune.
