You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!
Still think about this all the time.
The first “The Trip” film/series (it depends on how and where you watched it) is hands down the best BUT all four of them are pretty damn enjoyable.
I watched all four of these movies during the first year of the pandemic and this was the perfect marathon for vicarious living and a good laugh.
I wish Rob Brydon would do some of the darker stuff he did earlier. I like him in Gavin snd Stacey and would I lie to you but they lack the grit and dark humour of Marion and Geoff and Human remains
I could watch them do this all day. It always cracks me up when they’re doing impressions. Was this in the American version too? I’d imagine they wouldn’t have a clue about Bullseye or Jim Bowen.
I only DVR’d the “movie” versions of The Trip, The Trip to Italy, and The Trip to Spain.
I didn’t know that there were tv series versions, that may possibly contain additional or extended scenes. I don’t think I’ve seen this scene in the two hour version.
