This is a treat! I don’t recall seeing older movies with bloopers and am a little shocked to hear them cursing. I’ll accept being naive, but it’s refreshing to see that the great actors of the golden era were regular human beings. Flaws and all!
Film is expensive and directors are cheap. Swearing as soon as you realise it’s a bad take is a way to ensure that version stays on the cutting-room floor.
That’s why, despite it’ being a work environment, out of character, and even in kid’s content, outtakes are often filled with profanity.
Although it’s not HD I really like the audio track from old films. I’m not sure if they may be recorded at 96kps or less but the sound is so much more full as if there is more volume in their voice. It kind of reminds of the sound of a vacuum tubes. They tend to have a much warmer sound.
Seems like the most fun part of being an actor tbh
Jimmy Stewart being like, “awwh, your following meh” really didn’t feel like it was out of the realm of a goofy film he’d be in
I’ll upvote anything with Lauren Bacall.
The old man just sliding into “goddamn my soul” seamlessly at the end cracked me up.
Hah! Guess some things stay the same no matter the generation.
God damn my soul! xD
Quality content! Way better than ‘hot chicks from the 70s’.
I didn’t expect that amount of swearing. Is there more of this?
The weird thing about this footage, is that it shows that people actually talked like this.
I just assumed the way people talked in old movies was like “movie talk”, but I’ll be damned they really did talk that. Pretty cool!
NUTS!
i love this very much, thank you
The reactions honestly don’t feel that unfamiliar from today’s reaction, it’s just that obviously they talk more formerly and sound more charismatic
Man, even in bloopers Jimmy Stewart is still the best
This feels wholesome.
Jimmy Stewart 🥰
Oh you’re following me?
They were so hard on themselves lol
I’m sure that their bloopers were expensive.

Nobody going to say anything bout the laugh
More, moreeee
TIL people need to say “nuts!” more often
GOD DAMN MY **SOUL**
Jimmy stewart looking into the camera is gold.
My favorite movie genre.
Bloopers.
We gotta bring back “nuts!”

“Oh, you’re following me…” that was so sexy, lol. Damn, Old Hollywood men were gorgeous and the women were as well.
For some weird reason I always had this thought that actors and actresses simply didn’t mess up their lines back in the day.
“Oh you’re following me! *Oh* I didn’t know that. ***OH***”
I need a 20-300 minute reel of these on repeat. Seriously, does anyone have more?
