Was he celebrating? Looks like he was just returning to the center circle…
Haha it’s like the morons in marathons or bike races who start celebrating as they approach the finish line only to get passed at the last second.
Isn’t it tied 1-1? why would he celebrate?
Cuban coach losing his shit.
That’s going to be a really tough ride home.
Reminds me the one who was celebrating/avoiding fighting the last few seconds because he was about to win but was then penalized (not actively fighting is a penalty I guess) for not engaging and lost.
I’ve watched this ten times and I still have no idea what the hell is happening.
For those that aren’t following:
The Cuban (blue) is celebrating a few seconds into the video. He gets off the mat and starts clapping as he walks away from the Brazilian (yellow). The Brazilian then brings him to the ground and gets extra points, wins, and walks off celebrating as the Cuban stays on the ground after his embarrassing loss.
As a former wrestler…guys a dumbass. You wrestle til the whistle. Golden rule
This has big DeSean-Jackson-fumbling-at-the-one energy.
Unbuckle your armour after victory.
Haha, that ref gesturing “Bro, you gotta get up.”
Tim Duncan once said he was partly the way he was on the court because he’d celebrated too early when he was a young player, and the game swung shortly thereafter to his team losing.
What did Clint Eastwood say in the film Million Dollar Baby? As long as you’re in the ring, you defend yourself.
Guess this dope didn’t watch the 8 million YouTube videos of celebrating before actually winning…
Why would you celebrate before the end lmao
SE BUSCA RIVAL NA COLÔMBIA
BRASIL SIL SIL SIL
There’s time on the clock, there’s time to wrestle
I ain’t hear no bell
That commentators laugh kills me.
how lame
Man that’s a tough lesson
What’s up with that last pump he gives the guy before getting off though? Pretty sure that’s not wrestling lol
Who is responsible for teaching these athletes humility and sportsmanship when they’re young?
Play to the whistle!!!
life lesson
I love this so much. It’s disrespectful to do this and I am glad he paid the price.
In any competition, giving it your absolute all until the very end is a serious advantage.
Welcome to YouTube sports compilations for the rest of eternity
If you look up for “never give up” this video should pop up
I watched this 5 times. First when the wrestler started celebrating then seeing why. Then the second time and seeing him get frustrated. Then seeing it again to see his coach losing his shit. Then seeing it again for how much time was on the clock only to watch it one last time to notice the wrestler that last didn’t watch the clock like his opponent did.
During my first wrestling match in middle school, the other kid turned away to talk to his coach. I looked at the ref and he looked at me like “yeah the match is still going.” At that point the redneck in me ran and speared this kid in a way that would make Bill Goldberg proud.
That’s it, this clip just reminded me of that beautiful moment in my “sporting” career.
Someone translate please 🙂
What is pan-am? The old airline?
The wording of that title confused the shit out of me
He is what we would call in Australia ‘a stupid cunt’
I had a similar situation happen in high-school. Tied for at state. I think I have 10-15 seconds left. All I had to do was stand up from a downward start, and not let him take me back down. We were both so tired and he started acting like he had it in the bag.
This A hole decides to chop my elbow as the ref starts us off , like as hard as he can. Basically hammer punched my left elbow and it bent the lower left part of my arm 90 degrees to the left.
Dislocated my elbow but it popped back in. Medic said I was otherwise OK.
Reset, and on the whistle I stood up and beat the fucker no time to spare. Last match I ever had. Still hurts every now and then.
