As a Vikings fan I don’t think anyone should be surprised lol
Lions should’ve had the Santa Claus 🎅in the stands at the start of the season!
Prevent Defense YET AGAIN preventing the defending team from winning.
Vikings fan here. Losing to a team that hasn’t won a game all season AND losing on the final drive of the game. This is normal. Usually it’s a field goal we lose by.
A TV announcer made the comment of “Lions fans must be feeling pretty good right now.”
Yeah, we won 1 game all season. Better start prepping the parade.
It’s like winning a Superbowl for those guys and fans, as a Jets fan that’s how I feel whenever we win a game for the first time in a season. Congrats Detroit.
As a Vikings fan I can attest that the Vikings have always been very generous in giving winless opponents their first victories.
Can someone who knows x and o’s tell me what the Vikings dbs were doing there? They just gave up the goal line with no chance of defending that pass.

This is par for the course for Vikings fans. I don’t care if they win or lose. It’s something to watch while I prep meals or do chores. If it’s close or a significant moment, I’ll focus for a while. But I stopped truly caring whether they win or lose long ago and I’m way happier for it.
Now the most important thing for the Lions is NOT to win another game. Houston and Jax don’t appear likely to get to 3 wins (especially Houston who got shut out today). The season is done, get some development guys an opportunity to play, mix and match some play calls, etc. Picking 1st versus 3rd will be meaningful this year, with the two strong DEs available.
Michigan wins the B1G championship, Lions get their first win. Good weekend for Metro Detroit.
How have the Lions been so bad for so long? Usually, bad teams get better draft picks, which helps build a team. A bad team usually also has bad players that aren’t being paid that much, freeing up salary cap space for good free agents/trades.
Even the Browns had a few years with decent records.
Love when the Vikings make it on r/sports….
🎶Guard them closer, Tiny Dantzler….🎶
Love how Goff shoves Williams out of the way for coach
Classic Minnesota sports team move once again. So consistently inconsistent and predictably unpredictable.
so the Vikings beat the Packers and then lose to the Lions like wut
Lions gonna win superbowl I just know it
The Game Ball will go the Oxford High School & the families of those who lost their lives and who were injured in the attack.

Ngl I jumped off my couch and squealed like a small, unhurt child. I’m so relieved that we aren’t having another winless season!
The best 1-10-1 team in the NFL.
On a very related note – those all grey uni’s are fucking dope.
Someone’s getting pregnant in Detroit tonight!
I love those gray and blue Jerseys so much
I understand the excitement but imagine being Goff bring one win away from a superbowl to being one win into a season and probably would have had the same reaction.
This play cost me 100 bucks on a parlay, but I’m still happy for the lions. Got that W
MERRY FUCKING CHRISTMAS.
SIGNED,
A GUY FROM THE DETROIT AREA
