What does introversion have to do with anything? I wear a mask in busy areas still so I don’t have to deal with being sick.

In Japan, we’ve been using mask for a very long time now, decades.
Pre-covid, they were mainly due to
1. pollen/allergies
2. pollution
3. women didn’t want to put on make up and felt less conscientious when wearing a mask.
4. they were sick, cold/flu.
