Looks like generic comedy by production where they jam as many shitty jokes in as possible and fill up screen time with the annoying sidekick because they dont trust their own movie.
Toy story, lion king, Little Mermaid, Pinocchio etc didnt need a new joke every 20 seconds. Some comedy is good, too much shows a lack of confidence in the script.
Looks good, didn’t even realize Taika was in this.
The robot cat is not getting any less annoying to me though, so am still hoping it’s not as distracting in the actual movie. Baymax did that “schtick” the best and it feels like it has now spawned a bunch of copycats
Dang. This trailer has a pretty interesting reveal that I could’ve done without seeing. I’m still stoked for this film! But viewer beware, there be spoilers about
This genuinely just looks like a good science fiction movie and from the looks of it they aren’t just playing off of member berries. I’m really excited for this.
For a space explorer with Lightyear right in his name, his lack of understanding of relativity is sad. I hope an accident made this happen this way, and relativity wasn’t a surprise.
That said, I absolutely love the concept for this movie, and this looks like it’s going to satisfy my love for spaceship movies.
Shockingly uninteresting looking for an animated space adventure. Couldnt they have tried something more retro since the toy is supposed to be based on this? Instead its just a fairly generic looking 2022 prpduct
Looks very run of the mill bland tbh. Trying way too hard to be funny, and all the jokes fell flat. Director’s only feature film credit is co-directing Finding Dory, one of the worst Pixar movies. Very low expectations for this one.
This might come off as racist but it’s funny to me how all these new blockbusters have exclusively POC in the supporting cast but the leads are still just generic white dudes. Feels like a half measure
In theaters June 17

Looks fun! I like the twist, and the story feels fresh
>- It’s a thing your grandma and I used to do.
>
>- Ew!
lol
This looks really cool!
Chris Evans just can’t stop being sent into the future, huh.
You had me at Pixar and then you brought Taika..
Korg entering the Pixar Cinematic Universe was not something I was expecting this year
I’m still not sure of the context of this: is this a film being made in the Toy Story universe of Buzz?
I miss Tim Allen.
Hopefully this is good and not not good.
Finally some space action!

Big ESB vibes with the orange flightsuit and crashing in a swamp.

Heh…through a mishap he ends up 60yrs into the future and then put at the forefront of a world ending threat.
So…Lightyear is basically Captain America. Chris Evans really had to stretch for this.
Chris Evans can’t catch a break with time travel
Okay that last joke got me
This genuinely just looks like a good science fiction movie and from the looks of it they aren’t just playing off of member berries. I’m really excited for this.
Sad that this is retconning Buzz Lightyear of Star Command though

I shouldn’t be this excited to see Zurg in 2022, but I am. And Buzz has a space sword!
Finally after all of these years, we get to truly know if Andy had shit taste in movies lol this looks great though
I love movies that have time relativity as a plot point. That definitely increased my interest in this.
I’m SO happy this is officially going to theaters.
This looks quite boring actually. Characters look dull and the humour sounds naff
looks like cartoon Interstellar. I’m in.
“Why don’t they answer?”
So good.

Looks pretty fucking stupid if you ask me. But I’m sure the kids will love it.
Looks better than I expected! Happy to finally see Zurg.

Prediction: Zurg is actually a Mech Suit, which houses one of Buzz’s crew from the original mission.
Basically the suit is the only thing keeping them alive, and they turned evil for plot reasons.
Should have cast Patrick Warburton for the voice. Shame.
I hate that the plot of this reminds me of that godawful Tim Burton remake of Planet of the Apes.
I’m glad they stopped doing the “about to say iconic line but cut before they finish.”
Wow! Well, this looks a LOT better than the first trailer. Now I’m actually interested in seeing it!
I legit turned off this trailer after the first minute. They already sold me, I don’t want to know any more.
